Where to Camp for National Unplugging Day

National Day of Unplugging is coming up on Friday, March 7, and there’s no better way to spend it than on a camping trip

The National Day of Unplugging was created to inspire people to step away from screens/modern technology and prioritize connecting with others in-person.

In a world satiated with media and filled with busy schedules, it’s even more important to take breaks from it all now and then. Think about it…when was the last time you took a break to sit outside?

Spending time in nature has a variety of health benefits including boosting vitamin D production, reducing anxiety, and even improving circadian rhythms. Whether you choose to spend National Day of Unplugging outside, or indoors, there are many ways you can make it one to remember. A few popular things to do are having a picnic, hosting a dinner party, volunteering, keeping the lights off all day or, our personal favorite, camping!
